Three Sheffield murder suspects due in court

The men were charged with murder after Ramey Salem, who was also known as Remey Saleh, was shot in a property on Grimesthorpe Road South, Burngreave, in the early hours of Monday, November 16.


The 20-year-old was taken to hospital but could not be saved and was pronounced dead a short time later.

Hide AdMurder suspects Jabari Fanty, 18, of Broadhead Road, Deepcar; Aaron Yanbak, 18, of Abbeydale Road, Abbeydale and Ricardo Nkanyezi, 18, of Morgan Avenue, Southey Green, are all due at Sheffield Crown Court this morning.


Fanty and Yanbak are also charged with conspiracy to murder at Osgathorpe Park, Sheffield on October 31, conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life between October 3 and November 17 as well as possession of an offensive weapon.
Nkanyezi is also charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life between October 3 and November 17 as well as a further charge in relation to the Firearms Act.
A fourth man, Jordon Foote, 18, of Base Green Road, Base Green, is also due at court today charged with conspiracy to murder at Osgathorpe Park on October 31 and conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life between October 3 and November 17.

Hide AdAll four men have been remanded in custody since their arrests.
