Three murder suspects in court over fatal shooting of young man in Doncaster street

Three murder suspects are due in court today over the fatal shooting of a young man in Doncaster.

Ryan Nisbet, aged 20, of Springwood Road, Barnsley, is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court this morning along with two boys, aged 16 and 17, who cannot be named for legal reasons.

They are all accused of the murder of 20-year-old Lewis Williams, who was shot in his neck and face in an attack on Wath Road, Mexborough, on Monday, January 11.

They have been remanded in custody since they were charged.

A fourth man, Jack Parkes, 20, of Arnold Crescent, Doncaster, appeared at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court yesterday after being charged with murder last week.

A number of other people arrested over the murder remain on police bail while enquiries continue.
