Teenager bailed after arrest over stabbing in Sheffield street

A teenager arrested over the stabbing of another boy in Sheffield has been bailed after police questioning.

The 16-year-old was quizzed after a boy one year younger was stabbed in his leg on Hastilar Road South, which runs between Woodthorpe and Richmond, at around 11.15pm on Thursday, June 24.

South Yorkshire Police said the injured teen was taken to hospital with stab wounds to his leg and was later discharged.

The boy arrested over the incident was held on suspicion of wounding and assaulting an emergency worker.
