A teenage boy is due in court today over the murder of a dad in Sheffield.

The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reason, was charged last week over the murder of 35-year-old Marcus Ramsay.

He appeared before Sheffield magistrates and was remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Sheffield Crown Court this morning.

Mr Ramsay, a father-of-two, was stabbed in the early hours of Saturday, August 8, after reports of large scale disorder in Horninglow Road, Firth Park.
