Springvale Road Walkley: Police called after car found abandoned and vandalised near Sheffield pub

Officers were sent to Springvale Road’s junction with Commonside, near Walkley, after the car was found with two tyres apparently slashed. Springvale Road was blocked while the car, next to the Springvale pub, was removed.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said they were called at 11.36am yesterday and arranged recovery of a car that appeared to have been abandoned. adding: “It is reported that the car had had its tyres slashed.”
