South Yorkshire Police make arrest after thug bites man’s ear off in horrific attack

A man had his ear bitten off in an attack in Barnsley last night.

South Yorkshire Police said officers on patrol in Cudworth, Barnsley, were flagged down by a concerned member of the public who had witnessed a serious assault in which a man had his ear bitten off.

A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and spent the night in police custody.
