South Yorkshire Police found 21 cannabis grows in Barnsley in a two month period.

The force said that between August 1 and October 1, nearly two dozen cannabis farms were discovered in the town.

Over the same period last year, 11 were found.

South Yorkshire Police said: “Landlords and letting agents check your properties on a regular basis to prevent grows.”

Call 101 to report those involved in cannabis cultivation.
