"Someone else will end up dead" - mum of murdered schoolboy speaks out as knife found at son's school
“It’s going to happen again”
The mum of murdered schoolboy Harvey Willgoose has spoken of her fears that another child will be killed in school after a boy was found with a knife in the same school where her son was murdered.

A 14-year-old boy was found with a blade in his bag during a search at All Saints Catholic High School on Friday, October 16.
Last year, Harvey Willgoose, who was 15 at the time, was stabbed to death by a fellow pupil a few minutes into a lunch break.
His killer, Mohammed Umar Khan, who was also 15 at the time, was sentenced to a minimum of 15 years’ detention almost a year ago to the day - October 22, 2026.
Caroline said she is concerned that knife arches have still not been installed at All Saints Catholic High School in the wake of her son’s death, which sent shockwaves across the city and beyond.
“Schools need to listen - children are still taking knives in. They can’t shove this under the carpet as though it isn’t happening,” she said.
“They need to put things in place. This is a problem in all schools.
“I get contacted every day by children and parents telling me about knives. Children know there’s knives. Harvey knew. I get messages every day about people threatening them or they know of people carrying them.
“It is out of control.”

She claims she has contacted schools to offer to deliver talks to pupils but she gets knocked back.
“Schools don’t want me in because of how bad they think it makes them look - if they have me in, people think they have a problem. This needs to change. It should not all be about the reputation of these schools,” she said.
She added: “It’s going to happen again, there’s going to be another Harvey and that kills me. Someone else will end up dead.
“Children should not feel frightened to go to school. They are being threatened every day.
“Harvey is not here because of knife crime and that crucifies us.”
Harvey’s family is campaigning for knife arches to be installed in schools in a bid to save lives.
