Hide AdSouth Yorkshire Police said specialist officers interviewing the girl were able to obtain strong evidence of Nelson abusing her, giving him no choice but to plead guilty.

At court, he admitted to raping a five-year-old girl and having possession of indecent images and movies that involved his victim.
Described by the investigating officers as ‘a story of nightmares’ they heard how Nelson had scared his victim into not telling anyone about his acts and stored videos of him abusing her on his mobile phone.
During her interviews with police, the victim described to officers feeling ‘frozen’ and ‘scared’.
