Their crimes include murder, burglary, drugs supply, violent assault and various sex offences including those against children.
With the year 2021 coming to an end in a few days, we take a look back at the most notorious crimes perpetrated by the offenders.
9. Kevin Yeardley
Kevin Yeardley, 64, of Pembroke Crescent, pleaded guilty to six offences, including sexual activity with a child under 16, sexual assault of a child under 13 and causing a child to engage in sexual activity. 10. Shane Daley
A 48-year-old man has been jailed for four-and-a-half years for burgling properties in Sheffield. Shane Daley, of Barnsley Road, appeared before Sheffield Crown Court on September 20. He pleaded guilty to three counts of burglary, three counts of attempted burglary and two counts of fraud, which took place at six different addresses in Sheffield between 21 March and 16 July 2021. 11. David Ripley and Tracey Cooke
A man and woman from Sheffield were jailed after they admitted to stealing more than £95,000 from an elderly dementia sufferer. David Ripley, aged 57, of Oaks Fold Road, Sheffield, was trusted to look after the finances of a woman from 2014. The victim was diagnosed with dementia and had been placed in a care home. 12. Jonathan Wilkinson
A Sheffield man was sentenced 12 years in prison after being found guilty of a series of rapes. Jonathan Wilkinson, aged 36, of Gleadless Road, was found guilty on November 18 at Doncaster Crown Court of six non-recent rapes and one sexual assault.
