Sheffield United striker Lys Mousset in court today over supercar smash

The 25-year-old Frenchman, who signed for the Blades in a £10 million deal in 2019, is due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court this morning over a collision involving his Lamborghini Aventador supercar.
Mousset has been charged with driving without due care and attention and failing to stop after a collision.

Hide AdThe charges relate to an incident on Abbeydale Road South in the early hours of Monday, January 4 in which the footballer’s £300,000 car was involved in a collision with a number of parked vehicles.
The badly damaged Lamborghini, which had one of its sides torn off in the collision, came to a halt in the middle of the road, with fuel and oil pouring from the car.
Sheffield United striker Mousset, who lives in nearby Dore, was arrested after the crash and later charged.
