Sheffield road re-opened after earlier collision which led to traffic being diverted away from crash scene near school

A road has re-opened after an earlier collision close to a Sheffield school.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision near to Outwood City Academy on Stradbroke Road, Stradbroke, at 7am today.

The road was temporarily blocked and buses were diverted away from the crash scene.

It has since re-opened.

South Yorkshire Police said: “We were called at 7am with reports of a collision between two vehicles.

“The positioning of the vehicles meant the road was obstructed. There were no injuries reported.”
