Sheffield police team find Class A drugs and arrest two men after raiding Dore home

Class A drugs were found in three homes across Sheffield in a series of police raids.

Officers from Operation Fortify teams – which tackle serious organised crime – supported by neighbourhood officers raided a home on Causeway Head Road, Dore, and recovered Class A drugs from property last Wednesday.

The house was empty at the time but later that evening, police received reports of people trying to gain entry.

Officers were deployed and two men were arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply.

The following day, officers carried out further searches of the house at Dore, a property on Sturton Road and Abbeyfield Road, both in Pitsmoor, and recovered large quantities of Class A drugs.

The men arrested as part of the operation have been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
