Sheffield man charged as clever police dog sniffs out gun, bullets and cash hidden in sofa

A man has been charged after a police sniffer dog found a gun, bullets and cash hidden in a house in Sheffield.

Harrison Sargent, aged 21, of The Dale, Woodseats, has been remanded in custody after being charged with a firearm offence, possession of drugs with intent to supply and possession of criminal property.

He was arrested after a police search of a house in Woodseats last Friday unearthed a box of bullets, a gun hidden in a sofa and £10,000.
