Sheffield crime: Man charged over spate of alleged burglaries in Norton, Greenhill and Batemoor

A man has been charged over a series of reported burglaries in Sheffield.

Scott Bennett, of Batemoor Road, aged 43, has been charged with three counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary and going equipped for burglary, said South Yorkshire Police.

The charges relate to a series of alleged burglaries in and around the Norton, Greenhill, and Batemoor area on Monday January 16 and Tuesday January 17.

Bennett has been remanded in custody and will appear before Sheffield Magistrates' Court on May 15, 2023.
