Queens Road in Sheffield closed due to police incident today

Queens Road in Sheffield is blocked off this morning due to a police incident.

A police car, traffic cones and ‘road closed’ sign have been used to seal off the busy city street during rush hour.

First South Yorkshire said its services have been diverted to avoid the incident, said to be between Halfords and Wolseley Road.

Services will divert via London Road in both directions.

South Yorkshire Police has been contacted but details on the nature of the incident being dealt with have not yet been released.
