Investigation launched after cyclist hit by car on busy Sheffield road

Police have launched an investigation after a cyclist was hit by a car on a busy Sheffield road on Thursday.

Emergency services were called to Little London Road in the Meersbrook area of Sheffield at 4.05pm.

It is reported that a black Peugeot Allure and a cyclist collided at the junction where Little London Road meets Chesterfield Road.

However, it is not known if anyone was injured.

Emergency services attended the scene.
