Police seize Audi RS6 in Page Hall suburb of Sheffield after finding driver with provisional licence

A new police team in a Sheffield suburb has made its presence known by seizing an Audi RS6 and warning other drivers to be on their guard.

The new Page Hall team, set up to tackle issues in the suburb, seized the car after discovering that the 19-year-old driver only had a provisional driving licence and was uninsured.

In a warning to others, South Yorkshire Police said: “The new Page Hall team has arrived with a bang...uninsured and anti-social motorists be warned.“This flashy Audi RS6 was being shown off on Page Hall Road by a 19-year-old driver with his mates.

“Unfortunately for him, he was driving on a provisional licence and with no insurance.

“PC Daz and PC Al wasted no time in removing this vehicle, which had also been reported to have been driving anti-socially over the past week.“We will be out and about regularly in the area.”
