Police seal off Sheffield road as 'loud bang' heard

They say police vehicles descended on Cammell Road, Firth Park at around 12.30am this morning (Saturday, July 18) and ‘blocked the road’ after a ‘loud bang’ was heard.

A police helicopter was also spotted circling overhead.

According to witnesses, the road was still taped off at 5.30am this morning.

The Star has contacted South Yorkshire Police for more information and is waiting for their response.
