More details have been released on why a man is wanted for questioning by police officers in Sheffield.

Antonio Anderson, aged 41, is wanted in connection with a burglary, reported on November 3, 2019.

South Yorkshire Police revealed yesterday that he is wanted over the theft of ‘multiple valuable items and cash’ taken from a property on Bellhouse Road, Shiregreen.

Today more details have been released and South Yorkshire Police said the occupants of the house returned to find that a number of electrical items had been stolen including a TV, Xbox One and IPad.

A Huaweii phone was also taken along with a necklace of sentimental value and around £100 in cash.

Anderson also goes by the names Leroy Campbell and Marcus Campbell, as well as sometimes using different dates of birth to make himself 42 years old.

South Yorkshire Police said:” His last known home address was in Rotherham and Anderson has previously been sighted in Rotherham, but could have travelled into Sheffield or the wider South Yorkshire area.

“There have been extensive enquiries to locate him since the reported burglary, including multiple visits to addresses connected to him, financial enquiries and vehicle checks.

“Anderson is aware he is wanted and is believed to be actively evading police.

“Do you know where Anderson might be? Have you seen him at all over the last few months?”
