A police probe is continuing this morning after a woman was stabbed to death in Sheffield.

The 55-year-old murder victim, who has not yet been named, was found seriously injured in Ravenscroft Place, Richmond, at 10.30pm on Saturday, July 4.

CRIME: Neighbours tell of shock at death of woman, 55, in 'stabbing' in Sheffield

She was taken to hospital but could not be saved and was pronounced dead at around 11.30pm.
