Police investigate suspected Sheffield arson attack after car set on fire in early hours of this morning

Officers are investigating a suspected arson attack in Sheffield following reports that a car was set alight deliberately in the early hours of this morning.

Emergency services were called to Richmond Hall Road, shortly before 5.15am on Saturday, January 16, after reports that a car was on fire.

South Yorkshire Police suspect that the fire was started deliberately but nobody was injured during the incident.

Enquiries remain ongoing and anyone who has any information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 154 of 16 January 2021.
