In total, three uninsured drivers were taken off the road and their vehicles seized.

A further two drivers were issued with warnings for anti-social driving, and four traffic offence reports were issued.

Meanwhile, one drunk and disorderly arrest was made, and officers engaged with local young people who were said to have been involved in anti-social behaviour.

A Sheffield South East NPT spokesperson said: “A mix of enforcement, prevention and a few firm but fair conversations.

“Not every shift makes headlines, but small actions make a big difference to the people who live and work in Darnall and Tinsley.

“If you see us out and about, do stop and say hello. Preferably without needing a warning or a trip to our custody suite.”
