Police flood Sheffield street amid reports of man shot in the leg

Armed police officers rushed to a street in Sheffield where residents have reported hearing a number of shots fired.

Police flooded Lump Lane in Grenoside last night, Thursday, August 27.

Several residents reported hearing three gunshots, with one person claiming that a man was shot in the leg.

It is understood customers at a nearby pub were asked to stay inside while police responded, though the incident was not connected to the pub.
