Emergency services were deployed to Retford Road, Handsworth, last Saturday after a head-on collision left one woman needing to be cut free from her car by firefighters after she was trapped with serious injuries.

The occupants of the other car fled but South Yorkshire Police has now revealed that ‘someone has been voluntarily interviewed in relation to this collision’.
