Police called to Sheffield park after reported incident

Police were called to a Sheffield park yesterday after reports of a fight.

Police were called to Ecclesfield Park, in Sheffield, yesterday afternoon after a reported fight broke out between people who were attending a fairground on the park.

Eyewitnesses saw a young woman laid out on the floor after the apparent fight, with many claiming that she had suffered a seizure.

An ambulance was at the scene, but it is understood to have been present before the incident took place.

Farrar's family fun fair is currently operating on the site of the park, with rides available across the bank holiday weekend from 1 pm.

South Yorkshire Police have been contacted about the incident but did respond at the time of publication.
