Part of King Edward VII lower school in Sheffield burnt out after arson attack
A Sheffield school was damaged in an arson attack on Sunday night.
Benches outside King Edward VII School, Darwin Lane, Tapton, were set on fire and flames from the blaze caused some damage to the exterior of the school.
Two fire engines were deployed to deal with the incident.
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said: “Benches outside were deliberately set on fire.
“Two fire crews from Rivelin and Central stations attended.
“The fire had spread slightly to the outside of a building. Firefighters left at 9pm.”
