A new police team was drafted into Page Hall in October because of escalating issues and tensions in the area.
There were regular reports of anti-social behaviour, violence, drugs, noise, fly-tipping and groups congregating in the streets at all times of the day and night.

Mass brawls – one last night and another on New Year’s Day – have resulted in increased police patrols as officers attempt to restore calm and deter further outbreaks of violence.
In the New Year’s Day incident on Willoughby Street a 12-year-old girl was knocked unconscious and a three-year-old child was injured as people fought in the street with weapons.
Five arrests were made over the incident.
One man who witnessed the incident said some residents are ‘living in fear’ and ‘desperate to get away’.

The resident said: “It is a ridiculous and scary way to spend your life.”
Extra police patrols have been carried out since the New Year’s Day brawl, which was described by one resident as ‘a full scale riot'.
He said he saw people fighting with ‘poles, golf clubs and anything they could get their hands on’ and described the situation as ‘totally out of control’.
He believes around 100 people were involved.
