A Covid doubter filmed himself licking a cash machine in Sheffield and shared the video on Facebook.

He live streamed himself licking the keypad of a cash machine in Darnall before saying ‘coronavirus, my ar*e’.

An appalled viewer reported the man’s actions to South Yorkshire Police.

She said: “It happened in Darnall. This was the second cash machine he licked.

“He recorded it himself and put it on Facebook. He’s now removed it, he was live streaming it. I think it’s vile.”

South Yorkshire Police confirmed the incident has been reported to the force.

“We can confirm that the content of the video has been reported to police and enquiries are ongoing,” a spokeswoman said.

A total of 98,531 coronavirus deaths have been recorded in the UK during the pandemic, with 592 reported yesterday.

The UK has embarked upon a mass vaccination programme.

Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
