Murder suspect still in custody after arrest over shooting of Sheffield solicitor
A murder suspect remains in police custody this morning after being arrested over the shooting of a Sheffield solicitor.
Khuram Javed, also known as Khurm and Khurram, was shot dead in an alleyway on Clough Road, near Bramall Lane, on Saturday, April 10.
Detectives investigating the gun attack said the married dad-of-two was shot at following a ‘confrontation between two parties’.
Mr Javed was a solicitor who worked for London Road-based law firm Alison Law Solicitors.
Yesterday, detectives revealed that a fourth arrest had been made over the murder.
A 19-year-old man remains in police custody this morning.
Samsul Mohamed, 18, of Wolseley Road, Heeley, was charged with murder after being arrested by officers on Monday, April 26.
Two other men, aged 21 and 23, arrested on suspicion of murder earlier in the probe, have since been released under investigation.
