A murder suspect remains in police custody this morning over the death of a woman in Rotherham.

The 59-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder and robbery after a woman, aged in her 30s, was found in cardiac arrest in an underpass in Drummond Street at 7.55pm yesterday.
She was taken to hospital but could not be saved and a murder probe was launched.
South Yorkshire Police said the death is being treated as suspicious.
A forensic post mortem examination is planned.
