Murder probe continues after two more men are arrested in South Yorkshire despite lack of body

Detectives are continuing to treat the disappearance of a South Yorkshire man as murder, with two more suspects arrested over the death.

Two Barnsley men, aged 43 and 51, were arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder and burglary and remained in police custody last night.

They were questioned over the disappearance of 58-year-old Richard Dyson, from Barnsley, who disappeared in November 2019.

Richard, from Barnsley, was last seen by his 20-year-old daughter Bethany, from Catcliffe, Rotherham, on Friday, November 15 2019.

But after he missed their next arranged meeting, she reported him missing on Monday, November 25.

Detectives now believe he has been killed but a body has not yet been found.

Searches are being carried out.

Earlier this month two other men were arrested on suspicion of murder before being released on bail.
