Missing Sheffield man found safe and well

A man reported missing from his Sheffield home yesterday (May 28) has been found safe and well.

Kevin Somerset, aged 31, went missing in the Norwood area of Sheffield yesterday (May 28) after leaving his home to walk his dog around 9:30 am.

He was reported missing by his family after failing to return home, and his details and photograph were circulated by South Yorkshire Police in a bid to find him.

Kevin was seen by a member of the public yesterday, and police have now confirmed that he has been found safe and well after he returned to his home address this afternoon.

South Yorkshire Police said: “Kevin Somerset has returned to his home in Norwood, Sheffield, this afternoon. We are pleased to report that he and his dog are both safe and well.
