A missing girl from Barnsley has been found following a police appeal.

Officers had appealed for the public’s help to find Alexis, aged 14, who had last been seen in the Worsbrough Dale area in the early hours of this morning, Monday, August 16.
South Yorkshire Police said this afternoon that she had thankfully been found safe and well, adding: “Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal!”
