Missing boy not seen for over five weeks walks into Sheffield police station
A teenage boy missing from home for over five weeks walked into a Sheffield police station just before midnight.
Martin Ward, aged 17, from Swallownest, Rotherham, was reported missing after last being seen on February 25.
He was spoken to on the phone a number of times while he was missing but there were no confirmed sightings until he turned up at the Shepcote Lane custody suite in Tinsley at 11.45pm yesterday.
South Yorkshire Police said officers involved in the search were becoming ‘increasingly concerned for his welfare’.
