Man wanted over indecent exposure near Sheffield primary school

A man is wanted by the police over an act of indecent exposure close to a Sheffield primary school.

The incident was reported to South Yorkshire Police at around 2.30pm on Friday, March 19 after a man exposed himself in woodland, just off Richmond Park Way, Richmond.

Athelstan Primary School, which is close by, was informed of the incident.

Outwood Academy City in Stradbroke also informed parents of children at the school.

The man hunted by police was white, had blond hair and was wearing a red fleece jacket.

South Yorkshire Police said: “Police were called on Friday, March 19 at around 2.30pm to a report of indecent exposure in the Richmond area of Sheffield.

“It is reported that the victim, a woman in her 40s, was walking in woodland just off Richmond Park Way when a man exposed himself before fleeing in the direction of Bowden Woods.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
