The 21-year-old remains in a stable condition after the knife attack in Lyons Street, Pitsmoor, at around 5pm on Saturday, July 4.

Police officers deployed to the crime scene found evidence that a gun had been fired, but the injured man had not been shot.

Detectives are treating the incident as a ‘targeted attack’.

No arrests have yet been made.
