Man in Sheffield court after woman ‘threatened with knife, assaulted and raped’

A man has appeared in court accused of raping a woman in Rotherham.

The charges relate to a Rotherham woman, in her forties, who reported she was threatened with a knife, assaulted and raped in Kimberworth Park the early hours of Saturday, September 12.

Mohammed Naseer, 28, of Remount Road, Kimberworth Park, is accused of five counts of rape, one sexual assault and two counts of exposure.

He has been remanded in custody and is due at Sheffield Crown Court next month.
