Man found dead in Sheffield flat named by police as Terry Johnson

Police have named and released a photograph of a man at the centre of a murder probe in Sheffield.

Terry Johnson, aged 49, was found unresponsive in a flat in Gell Stree, Broomhall, at around 5am on Friday, May 15.

When paramedics arrived they pronounced him dead at the scene.

The death is being treated as suspicious but officers are awaiting full post-mortem examination results before a cause of death can be confirmed.

A 51-year-old man arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder has since been released under investigation.

A 47-year-old man arrested on Sunday on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug, has also been released under investigation.
