Man arrested on suspicion of murder following death of woman in Sheffield

The woman, aged 35, was found unconscious by the ambulance service at an address in Pavilion Way around 8.30am on Friday (26 June). She died in hospital just before 5pm the same day.

Formal identification has taken place. The woman’s family is receiving support. Police are still awaiting full results of a post mortem examination.

The man, from Sheffield, was arrested on Saturday evening and has since been released on police bail.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 450 of 26 June.
