The victim was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries, which police said were not caused by the shooting.

A 24-year-old man was detained by police in connection with the incident shortly afterwards and arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and bladed article and currently remains in police custody.

Police said he remained in custody this afternoon.

A video shared online appears to show a scuffle at the entrance to the bar, which is open until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights, before what sounds like a gunshot can be heard.
