A man was arrested after a head-on crash with a car driven by an elderly woman during a police pursuit in Sheffield.

South Yorkshire Police said officers on Carlisle Street, Burngreave, spotted a silver Audi with damage to its off-side, but when they gestured for driver to pull over, he failed to stop.
During a police chase, the wanted driver crashed into a car being driven by a 71-year-old woman, who escaped with minor injuries.
The driver was arrested for offences including drug driving.
