Killer of Sheffield man still walking streets five months after fatal stabbing on city estate

Isaiah Usen-Satchell, aged 18, was stabbed in an attack in St Aiden’s Road, Norfolk Park, at around 4.20am on Wednesday, January 1, during a fight between a group of men.

Four Rotherham men, aged 18 – 22, were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain on police bail.

A fifth man, aged 27 and also from Rotherham, was also arrested on suspicion of murder and later released with no further action to be taken.

Nobody has yet been charged over the killing.

Mr Usen-Satchell was found slumped in the road with serious injuries to his arms.

He was taken to hospital, where he died a short time later after a slash wound to his wrist proved fatal.

Mr Usen-Satchell, from Norfolk Park, had been out on New Year’s Eve, returned home and was stabbed when he went out again in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

He was a university student in Leeds.

In her last appeal for information about the killing, Detective Chief Inspector Jude Ashmore, leading the police probe, said Mr Usen-Satchell’s family was ‘devastated’ at his death, with his mum, dad and two sister described as ‘heartbroken’.
