Khuram Javed murder: Sheffield solicitor's killer still at large two weeks after shooting

Khurram Javed, who was also known as Khurm and Khuram, was gunned down in an alleyway off Clough Road, close to Bramall Lane, on Saturday April 10.
The married dad-of-two is said to have been killed after a ‘confrontation between two parties’.

Hide AdMr Javed, aged 31, of Archer Road, worked for Alison Law Solicitors on London Road.
Two arrests have been made so far as part of the police probe into the killing but nobody has yet been charged.
His funeral was held last Friday, with family and friends still struggling to come to terms with their loss or to understand why Mr Javed was shot.
Paying a heartfelt tribute to her husband last week, Sana Munir, 33, said: “He was the light of our family. His cheeky smile lit up the room and he was the most loving, amazing person and such a wonderful dad to his two kids.

Hide Ad“He worked hard but he fitted his hours around his family. He was a good, hardworking man and he didn’t deserve the death that he suffered. He was the best of the best.
“I am all over the place, one minute I can’t believe what has happened, then I get emotional and then angry and the anger boils over.”
His cousin Haroon Tariq said: “He was a hard-working, law abiding citizen. Nobody is sure what happened and we are leaving it in police hands.
“We don’t know who the perpetrator is, we just want justice.”
