Inside the Sheffield flat which caught on fire after police found cannabis set up

An investigation is continuing today into a blaze in a cannabis set up which led to the evacuation of flats in a Sheffield street.

The cannabis set up was found in an attic on Sharrow Lane, Sharrow, after a fire broke out and led to the evacuation of neighbouring flats.

One elderly man had to be led to safety by firefighters.

The alarm was raised at 3am yesterday and fire crews spent around three hours at the scene.
