They remained in police custody last night.

Family member Rebecka Easton has set up a crowdfunding page on the Go Fund Me website to help with funeral costs and over £400 has been raised.

She said: “In a time of desperation and sadness I would like to create a collection to go directly towards the cost of the funeral for Lewis Williams.

“Lewis devastatingly lost his life to gun crime at the age of 20 in a targeted attack and now the family will have to endure burying their beloved son, brother, partner, uncle.

“I believe this fundraising page will help the family so much in a time of such sorrow. A little donation goes a long way.”

Flowers have been left close to the spot where Lewis was killed, with one of the cards on a bouquet reading ‘my heart is shattered’.

Police officers are trawling through CCTV footage and making house-to-house enquiries in a bid to help establish exactly what happened and who was involved.
