South Yorkshire Police said officers ordered the driver of Mercedes being driven in Sheffield overnight to pull over.
But when the car stopped outside Meadowhall Retail Park on Attercliffe Common the occupants fled.

Hide AdA police dog was deployed and two men, aged 18 and 29, were detained.
The 29-year-old was arrested on suspicion of being an illegal immigrant.
