South Yorkshire Police said officers were called at 11pm yesterday to ‘reports of a group fighting’.

The group dispersed as officers arrived.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assault.

Over recent weeks officers have been called to numerous street disturbances in the area, where large groups of people were filmed congregating and ignoring social distancing measures in place at that time to try to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The gatherings caused so much upset in Page Hall, there were calls for the army to brought in.
