Firearm damage to two properties on the street was discovered and a police probe was launched.

That same day a 35-year-old man was shot in his leg on Lump Lane, Grenoside.

Residents believe it may have been a drive-by shooting after reports of a car speeding away from the crime scene shortly after the gun attack.

Officers have made an arrest over a shooting on Harwell Road, near Nether Edge, last weekend.

A man was shot in his foot in the gun attack.
