Gunman still on the loose after Sheffield shooting, say police
A gunman is still on the loose as police continue their investigation into a shooting in Sheffield on Sunday night.
South Yorkshire Police cordoned off a section of Greasbro Road, in Tinsley, at its junction with Shepcote Lane, at 11pm.
Armed officers attended and a man was found with serious injuries. The man, who is in his 30s, was taken to hospital, where he was reported to be in a stable condition the following day.
Asked if there were any arrests, police told The Star today there were no updates and enquiries remained ongoing.
Police said the victim had suffered potentially life altering injuries.
Detective Inspector Laura Procter said at the time: "Even the smallest piece of intelligence from you could prove crucial to our investigation and we would be particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the Greasbro Road area at the time and has relevant doorbell, dashcam or CCTV footage.
